EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 3 cents per bushel,
January soybeans are up 3 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is up 6 3/4 cents,
December Chicago wheat is up 5 3/4 cents, and MIAX December Minneapolis wheat
is up 0.0475 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Wednesday, December corn rose 1 3/4 cents, January
soybeans dropped 11 3/4 cents, and December KC wheat dropped 3 1/2 cents. Corn,
soybean, spring wheat, and soft red winter wheat basis were stronger Wednesday,
while hard red winter wheat basis were steady. The soybean market is getting
hit from all sides. Private analyst estimates of a record 2026/2027 Brazil
soybean crop were followed by a record U.S. 2026 yield estimate of 55 bushels
per acre (bpa) on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, the market again ignored daily
flash soybean sales. Likewise, corn traders appear to ignore a strong demand
picture. Wheat prices are pressured by planned ceasefire negotiations in the
Black Sea war and growing support from the newly elected Democratic-led
Congress to exit the Middle East war. On Thursday, USDA will release its weekly
Export Sales report at 7:30 a.m. CST, with data from the week ending October
29. No other major reports are scheduled. Markets continue to search for
support amid recent selloffs.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: The previous close on Wednesday showed the Dow Jones
Industrial Average up 1,569.40 at 53,356.12 and the S&P 500 up 119.70 at
7,688.62. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.894%. Early Thursday, the

0.5%, and spot futures for France's CAC 40 Index up 0.68%. Asian markets are
